Many people have asked me over the years which are better; juicing or blending? Juicing removes the pulp from the vegetables/fruits, leaving only the juice so it is easier to digest. Blending keeps the pulp within the juice, which allows for more fiber in your juice/smoothie. Which one you choose is a matter of preference and your current health condition.
Let me explain; if your body is working properly then juicing or blending can be beneficial to lose weight and normalize the body systems. For some people, juicing and/or blending of vegetables do not help because the body cannot digest raw foods or juices. Only you can know whether or not juicing/blending vegetables can be beneficial for you.
When I do juice my vegetables, I use the Omega HD juicer because it is very easy to clean. That was my number one reason for choosing a juicer because I was not fond of the traditional bulky juicers that are so difficult to clean. I knew that if it is more work to juice, I wouldn’t do it. When I choose to blend vegetables, I use the Vitamix. Vitamix is the Rolls Royce of Blenders and gets the job done. It is also very easy to clean.
Whether you choose to juice or blend is up to you and whether or not your body can handle raw foods in vast quantities. Happy Juicing OR Blending.
