Benefits of Celery Juice

Celery has a high percentage of vital organic sodium. It contains more than 4 times the sodium to calcium ratio. Sodium is important in the elimination of carbon dioxide from the system and also helps to maintain the fluidity of the blood and lymph system. Celery is also very high in magnesium and iron, which is invaluable for the blood cells.

A deficiency of vital organic sodium results in bronchial and lung trouble. Smokers will experience this more so and should utilize fresh celery juice to help to restore lung function.

A great way to cool off on a hot day is to drink a glass of fresh celery juice, this will normalize the body temperature and you will remain comfortable while everyone else is sweating. This is a handy piece of advice for those of us who live in the warmer climates.

I find it is easiest to clean and cut the celery stalks into bite size pieces and store in the refrigerator to make it easy to take a few pieces to juice with other vegetables. Happy Juicing.
